The Lyman Cruisette is one of Lyman's classics. This is one of the rare hardtops that have been kept up with annual maintenance work. Hull repainted in 2022. New covers but also have the original camping covers that open with a netting so bugs will not bother your ZZZ's when sleeping. Engine runs beautifully. Carburetor rebuilt in 2023. Manifold replaced in 2022. The engine is serviced every fall haul and Spring launch with new filters, oil, and fluids. The original Chrysler V8 runs good and is able to power through the waters of eastern long island where the boat has been kept for the past 10 years. For the last 10 years the boat has been kept in salt water so the hull shows no sign of any soft spots or rotting. New coat of bottom paint has been rolled on each spring before launching.
Owner has kept the boat mainly as a family cruiser exploring the waters of the coast of eastern Long Island. Two - 3 coats of varnish have been applied to the deck by owner every spring. The Boat for the most part is equipped with the original hardware and features, including a swim ladder, cockpit steps, galley sink, white cushions, horn, bilge pump, anchor and line, flagstaff, table and original helms wheel, canvas camping covers with mosquito netting that makes sleeping on the deck with the dinette table. converting to a full bunk. Additions include a full winter cover that allows work to be done with it up, a summer cockpit cover to protect the varnish from the summer rays, new chart plotter.
