Meeting/Event Information

• Starting point: McConnelsville’s Ramp #18/south of Lock #7 on State route 376 (2555 St. Rt. 376N, 43756) near the Morgan County Fair Grounds (178 miles/ 3 hours from Cincinnati by car).
• Note: Lock #4 at Beverly has been under repair and it should be open. If not, we will reach out to everyone with Plan B.

Schedule of Events:
Friday, September 29
Group to Depart McConnelsville ramp at 11:00 AM. We will travel downriver through 5 Civil War era locks on the Muskingum River to Marietta, Ohio.
Friday evening in Marietta: Explore the charming town. Cocktails, dinner and an all-around good time on the roof of the weather permitting. Trust me…this is a lot of fun! Marietta is a very walkable town for all of our events.

Saturday, September 30
Marietta is a fun town full of antique stores, art galleries, museums, gift shops, wine cellar, brewery, Farmers market, etc. There are trolley tours of the town, a people’s theatre, and many good restaurants. We are working on a lunch cruise to a local yacht club. More details to follow.  Dinner: Austyn’s Restaurant, 130 Front Street, 6:30 PM

Sunday, October 1
Breakfast at the hotel before departing at 10:00 AM. The Muskingham Fair Grounds ramp can be used to pull your boat, approximately one mile up the Muskingham from Marietta.

Other Details
 • We will leave our vehicles and trailers at the McConnelsville ramp. We will drive back Friday or Saturday to pick up our vehicles (a 30 min. drive) and rides will be available to McConnelsville.
